  When we were recommended to Jacob we didn't quite know where this unpredictable road was going to take us, yet he jumped in immediately to help guide us through the initial but most crucial steps of buying our first home. He was quick to build a personal relationship with us, to really help get a scope of what was in our budget and how to get what we needed in order to move forward. He outlined all the requirements and made it so there were never any delays in the approval process so we could immediately start the fun part, the search. Throughout the highs and lows of home searching, Jacob was a text or call away if we needed him to run any numbers or answer any questions concerning how every home we were interested in would affect our loan. He was in constant contact with our realtor to make sure paperwork was in order and everyone was on the same page so we could jump on making an offer the second a house made all of the check marks for us. The amount of support and connection we felt working with Jacob and his team, in line with our agent, is one of the strongest reasons why our dream that my partner and I joked about over coffee last summer, became our reality not even 6 months later. There were a couple moments, after long days of looking at multiple listings and scrambling to finish offers before the deadline, the last thing we wanted to do was run numbers - Jacob would respond immediately with what our monthly mortgage would look like as well as a pre-qualification letter specific to the property to include in our offer. Jacob researched and utilized all his resources to help us qualify for the best loan, acquire credits to help us with closing costs and educated us on how to lock in the best interest rate. We ended up with a lower interest rate than we expected and credits towards closing costs which ended up giving us more room in our budget for moving costs. His efforts were completely above and beyond what was expected and made the dream of home buying in 2017 attainable to two hardworking 29-year-olds with a middle-class upbringing. His professional but friendly demeanor made it enjoyable as well - chasing a dream doesn't have to be stressful when you have an amazing team behind you. We signed papers and made our purchase official on Sept 18th, 2017, sitting across from Jacob, who we knew at that moment, always had our best interest in mind and were willing to jump through hoops in order to get us in the chairs we were sitting in. We are forever grateful for Jacob's encouragement, guidance, and overall knowledge of his field. We couldn't imagine going through this process with any other lender and you shouldn't either!
